Dear Blue Bell,

I’m a 61-year-old grandmother of four, one girl, three boys.  Ages eight through five, so you know I have a fight on my hands when it comes to Blue Bell Ice Cream. 

Jane Hegley has overdone it this time.  That Southern Hospitality is great, it’s the bomb.  I thought Cherry Vanilla was my favorite, but Southern Hospitality takes the cake.  I don’t know how she came up with this recipe, because this one is outstanding.  Cherry Vanilla, Banana Split, Homemade Vanilla with pineapple, strawberry, etc.  I have tried them all, Southern Hospitality is everything in one, number one.

I visited Los Angeles in March of this year and couldn’t find Blue Bell Ice Cream.  I talked about it so much, my cousin is coming to Louisiana in July.  She said the first thing she wants when she gets here is a big bowl of Blue Bell Ice Cream.  Now I will have to have four grandchildren and a cousin to fight over the Blue Bell.  Just keep it coming and I will be a faithful customer.

Just a quick note, we love your ice cream!  Don’t ever change a thing- you achieved “perfection”, at least, in my family’s opinion.  I majored in Dairy Science at Clemson University and your product is as good as anything they ever produced on campus (and their ice cream is very, very good.)

We love your vanilla, your strawberry, the new Southern Hospitality flavor- and, well, ALL of your frozen concoctions!

We are big fans of your ice cream and we just wanted you to know how much we appreciate your being honest with us, your customers.  We appreciate you still giving us a full half gallon of ice cream.  We very much resent companies trying to deceive those who have made them who they are by trying to sneak in a smaller container of whatever and trying to trick us into thinking we are still getting the same amount of their product for the same price.  We would much rather you be honest with us and say, "We can't afford to sell the regular amount any more for the same price so we are going to have to raise the price a little."  We'd understand that better than trying to trick us.  I have no tolerance for deceit.

Dear Blue Bell,

I wanted to share with you guys a new part of my life that’s unfolding.  In the past as a child I remember sharing a bowl of chocolate ice cream- only Blue Bell of course- with my dad.  As I grew, I cherished those times with him.  He was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so he can’t enjoy y’all’s ice cream anymore.  However, I just got engaged and my fiancé loves Blue Bell Ice Cream- so we’ve once again started a tradition of eating ice cream together.  In fact, we want all of our wedding guests to enjoy the fun and flavor as well.  At our reception, we are going to have every flavor you guys make lined up on tables for people to enjoy.  And since our wedding is in July, it’s a perfect time and way to celebrate!

So, I just wanted everyone at Blue Bell Creameries to know that your ice cream and your traditions have been a pleasant part of my past and now will help me kick off my future with the man I love.  Thank you so much for all your work and dedication in making your company great!  God Bless!

Dear Blue Bell,

I visit my daughter and her family in Carrollton, GA, at least four times a year.  When I get there I go to Wal-Mart as soon as I can to get my Buttered Pecan and Neapolitan for my daughter’s family.  I have never eaten such a wonderful ice cream in my life.  I mean that sincerely.

I went to all of the supermarkets and Wal-Marts in this area and could not find Blue Bell Ice Cream.  I finally realized that it is probably not sold in this area or not at all in New York.  I went online and found your website, I also joined the Blue Bell Club.

If Blue Bell is sold in New York state, please let me know where.  Or tell me how I could become a vendor or distributor in New York.
